The NFL has allowed its players to sport custom cleats for Week 13 in the initviaite called “My Cause, My Cleats.”
Players are allowed to honour a charity of their choice, or pay tribute to a fallen friend or family member.
Earlier on Thursday Night Football, Redskins safety D.J. Swearinger honoured Sean Taylor, the former Redskins safety that was gunned down in his home ten years ago this week.
Cowboys quarterback decided to rock a pair that said “Faith” written across them to pay respects to his mother, who passed away from colon cancer back in November of 2013 when Prescott was a freshman at Mississippi State.
Dak is no stranger is customizing his cleats, having done so multiple times in the past, that often resembled around his mother.
Unforunatly for Prescott, he was forced to leave the game with an apparent hand injury, and as you can see below, his throwing hand swelled right up.
Prescott later returned, and helped Dez Bryant become the franchise’s all-time leader in touchdown receptions.
