Around these parts, we are huge fans of the All Hockey Hair Team celebrating some of the best flow over the years in the Minnesota boys’ state high school hockey tournament.

As it turns out, a rookie turning some heads with his play as of late is also a former All Hockey Hair Teamer himself. Jake Oettinger, who has taken over in goal for the Dallas Stars for the time being, was featured in the 2014 video (at the 5:14 mark, found via u/Mustache-of-Destiny on Reddit).

Oettinger's flow is a bit tamer these days than it was in the glory years of high school when you could get away with much more — especially as a Minnesota high school hockey player, where the rules are basically anything goes.

It’s still cool to see what Otter was rocking back in the day. Of course, now, he’s one of the Stars top prospects and we’re finally getting a chance to see what he can do at the NHL level this season. Honestly, we should’ve seen it coming from this video. What a beauty this guy is.
