Crosby and his teammates had the same reaction to the controversial no goal call

After a controversial call in a big game, everyone wants to know what the players and coaches on the wrong end of the call thought about it.

Sunday, the Penguins were on the wrong side of a review in the third period as it looked like they had scored to make it a one-goal game, but the call on the ice stood after it was reviewed and it stayed 3-1.

Washington won Game 2 by a score of 4-1 to even the series and after the game, Sidney Crosby, Mike Sullivan and others commented on the controversial decision.

#Pens HC Sullivan on disallowed goal: "My view was that it's 100 percent a goal. When you blow it up you can see the white. It's behind the post. Whether you use deductive reasoning or see the white, that's how we saw it." -SK

Crosby on called off goal: "I thought it was. I understand what they're saying, they don't have a clear view of the puck over the line. I think you can see the puck is on it's edge behind the post. It's not possible for it to touch the line." -SK

Crosby on the angles: "I don't know the angles that they had. But the one I saw it had to be a goal." -SK

Hornqvis on the disallowed goal: "I thought it was in. They couldn't see it. From my angle it looked in. That's hockey. What can you do about it now?" -SK

The Penguins thought it was a goal and it's hard to disagree with them. That wasn't the only call that didn't go their way, though, as the officials weren't on Matt Murray's side earlier in the game.

Murray on the goalie interference: "I did (feel interfered with). I was pretty disappointed. As a goalie you just want to do your job. When something like that happens and you can't do it, you just want to see the rule be upheld. I was disappointed." -SK
