Cristiano Ronaldo transfer rumours have been swirling since Real Madrid won the Champions League crown and on Tuesday, the reports of him transferring to Juventus were made official.
Arguably the greatest soccer player of all-time is taking his talents to Serie A for the first time in his career which is both shocking and exciting, but what he accomplished at Real Madrid is going to be impossible to replicate.
In his career with Real Madrid, Ronaldo became the top scorer in the club's history with 451 goals in 438 games. He helped his team win 16 titles, 4 of which were Champions League titles.
Simply put, Ronaldo was the most dominate player in the world with Real and upon transferring to Juventus, he wrote a letter thanking everyone and explaining his decision to move on:
Ronaldo will miss Madrid and Madrid will miss him, but that team will always hold a special place in his heart for the rest of his life.
Now it's time for a new journey and the sports world is excited to see how this part of Ronaldo's story unfolds.
