Dallas Cowboys’ sophomore running back Ezekiel Elliot is currently appealing the six-game suspension announced by the NFL, but if Elliot remains unable to play the first six games of the season, it appears the Cowboys have found a doppelganger replacement.
At practice on Thursday, Cowboys’ offensive lineman Joe Looney was the Zeke impersonator, dressing up like the running back in his signature crop top.
We would honestly love to see Looney start a game at running back, or even just take one single hand-off. Watching a defender attempt to take the big man down would be entertaining in itself. Let’s make it happen, Cowboys!
