Mike McCarthy was asked some tough questions while up on the stand during his press conference Wednesday. Some of the responses raised some eyebrows.

There was one question that many had been eagerly awaiting.

At his introductory press conference officially announcing McCarthy as the Dallas Cowboys head coach, he was finally asked about the NFC Divisional Round playoff game between the Cowboys and the Packers in the 2014/2015 season. A fourth-down catch by Dez Bryant (questionable) was overturned by officials and ruled it incomplete, giving Green Bay possession of the ball, which on went to seal the win for the Packers.

This call forever haunts the Cowboys, and now that McCarthy is on the other side, he was inevitably asked whether Dez really caught the ball. His response:

A very safe way to answer the question, but admits it nonetheless and people are kind of on the fence about the whole thing.

It seems more people just want to stop talking about it and leave it in the past.
