No. 14/14 Cornell and Harvard went head-to-head in men’s hockey action on Friday night in Ithaca, New York. As the Harvard Crimson took the ice for the pre-game warm-ups, the home crowd fans kept the tradition of the long-standing rivalry alive as they pelted the ice with fish.
Despite going through multiple security checks to get in the arena before the game and signs plastered all over the place asking the students not to throw fish, they somehow got an entire school of fish into the arena and went forward with the fish flinging.
Harvard got the last laugh, though, as they went on to score four unanswered goals in the third period to defeat No. 14/14 Cornell 4-1.
