The Dallas Stars have battled to stay alive in their series against the Tampa Bay Lightning, and although they face another do or die situation tonight again tonight, they’re going into it with the momentum of a double OT win.
A big part of the Stars’ success this post season has been their ability to get scoring from all parts of their lineup, and Corey Perry has been a man on a mission the past couple games of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Three of his five postseason goals have come in the last two games, and he really seems to have found his groove when the Finals began.
What’s been the difference for Perry? While it might not entirely be the case, he’s been a whole new guy since his wife was allowed in the in the bubble.
While it’s not a possibility for every family, because his wife is Canadian and didn’t have to cross any international borders to get to the bubble, she was able to join him after a mandatory quarantine period.
From the looks of it, the Stars should definitely try to keep her around.
We’ll see if the good luck and inspiration continues!
