The singing of 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' during the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley Field is one of the best traditions in sports.

Over the past 20 years, there have been plenty of legends who have gotten the opportunity to keep the tradition alive in honour of legendary Cubs announcer Harry Caray, and that list is only going to continue to grow year after year.

On Thursday afternoon, Cookie Monster was the special guest at the Cubs game and did the honours of leading the way during the 7th inning stretch.

Bill Murray. Eddie Vedder. Jim Belushi. Mike Ditka. John Cusack. And now, Cookie Monster.

Hey, you really do see something new every day at the ballpark.
