Conor McGregor is about to add a nice chunk of cash to his already eye-opening net worth.
The 30-year-old is gearing up for the what could go down as the most memorable fight in martial arts history in UFC 229, and all eyes will be on the Irish native as he takes on Russian defending champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, and with those eyes will come a wholeeeee lot of cash. Just for showing up, McGregor is scheduled to earn a cool $3 million.

There are no winning bonuses, however, each fighter can earn a lot more based on sponsorships and pay-per-view points. At the UFC 229 press conference, McGregor stated that he expects to make nearly $50 million total. In comparison, ‘Mystic Mac’ earned the same $3 million when he took on Nate Diaz in UFC 202 in August of 2016.
As of July 16, 2018, Forbes listed McGregor at having a net worth of $99 million. That appears to be going up big time after tonight.
