Conor McGregor returns to the octagon on Saturday for a highly-anticipated bout against Dustin Poirier. To be completely honest, every McGregor fight is highly-anticipated given his polarizing nature.

With a McGregor fight around the corner, you already know the trash-talking is going to be ramping up exponentially over the next few days. Apparently McGregor’s trash-talking isn’t limited to Poirier (not surprising), as he took an Aaron Bronsteter question about the other fighters within the Lightweight Division and made it his own.

Khabib Nurmagomedov took the brunt of the attack, with McGregor claiming that a bout against the currently retired Russian fighter would be his easier rematch.

McGregor is no stranger to over-the-top trash-talking, and he’s likely the only person in the world that would claim Khabib to represent an easy rematch. Considering Khabib has never been beaten, never been knocked down, never been cut, and hardly even lost a round… there’s nothing easy about beating Khabib.

In fact, we’re not even sure it’s possible quite yet.

Here’s the whole Aaron Bronsteter interview with McGregor, in which he speaks at length about his upcoming bout with Poirier.
