It's been almost a full day since Conor McGregor made his mark at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, but the content keeps on coming.

First, it was McGregor dropping the puck for the ceremonial face off. Then, Brad Marchand won the game in overtime for the Bruins against the Blue Jackets and celebrated with McGregor's "Billionaire Strut."

Earlier on Sunday, the team released a behind the scenes video of "The Notorious One" storming around the Boston Garden. He gave the team a pep talk inside the Bruins' dressing room where he walked over the team logo before heading out to drop the puck. In fairness to McGregor, he's not exactly up to date on the superstitions and norms of hockey tradition.

The Irishman probably wasn't told that shaking the hands of the two both captains at centre ice (Boone Jenner filled in for Nick Foglino who missed the game for personal reasons) was an unofficial rule after dropping the puck.

After Chara quickly called McGregor back to shake both his and Jenner's hands, the UFC superstar had a special MMA-style request for Big Z to execute during the game following a wish of good luck.

"Put him through the net!"

Jenner is one of the more physical forwards in the league, but that wouldn't stop Chara from launching into the mesh if the two collided during the game based on Chara standing 7'0" on skates.

Safe to say McGregor is now a fan of hockey.
