Nobody seemed to have a better Saturday than Conor McGregor. He began his day celebrating St. Patrick’s Day over in Chicago, and then wound up in Boston for puck drop at the Bruins game.
McGregor also posted a photo of himself getting the Bruins fired up in their locker room, because nothing else gets the blood pumping like Conor McGregor yelling in your face.
However, when one Twitter user noted that the Bruins looked more amused than pumped up, McGregor shot back with an incredible defense of the Bruins, who are, apparently, much like Batman.
We couldn’t even make this up if we tried. This is trash talk at its finest. (Also, it’s one thing to compare a team of hockey players to Batman, but how is depth perception the first thing on your mind after that?)
The respect between McGregor and the Bruins seems mutual, too. After scoring the OT winner against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Brad Marchand busted out the McGregor strut for an all-time celly.
