Our first season in the ASHL at Canlan hasn't exactly gone as planned. Simply put, we've been struggling big time, so much so that in our latest game we decided to confuse our opponents by cheering for them.
Whenever they scored, we celebrated like we had just scored. Whenever we scored, we smashed our sticks in anger and frustration. We even tried to convince the officials to make more calls against us and got mad when they didn't.
You would think that this stunt would have blown up in our faces, but we actually WON thanks to an awesome goal by Jesse in the shootout and that goal may have been exactly what we needed to go on a bit of a run.
