While the NFL awaits Wednesday’s announcement for the remaining Pro Bowl members, we’re slowly finding out which cheerleaders will be representing their squads at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, on February 6th.
Each year, each cheer squad is permitted to select one cheerleader to act as the troop’s representative. There are 6 teams that don’t have cheer squads (the Bears, Steelers, Packers, Browns, Chargers, and Giants), bringing the grand total of Pro Bowl selections to 26.
On Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts decided to let their 2022 selection Vanessa know if a very special way. Vanessa thought she was helping to present a season ticket holder with a holiday gift, but it turns out that the gift was for her all along.
Vanessa lost her father to colon cancer in July, so seeing her mother make the announcement on the big screen was extra emotional. After receiving her Pro Bowl sash, Vanessa was mobbed by her smiling teammates as the feeling sunk it.
You love to see it.
