Some baseball fans absolutely love a good bat flip, while others find it to be a blemish on the game. If you include yourself in that latter camp, you'll probably want to skip watching this. But you really should watch...
During an NCAA baseball game, Houston Cougars outfielder Grayson Padget hit a walk-off home run that was captured in slo-mo by the school's video team. The swing was clean, but it was the bat flip that really captured everyone's attention.
Wow. He pretty much carried his bat all the way to first base before chucking it towards the opposing team's dugout. If any bat flip was ever going to lead to some form of retaliation by a pitcher due to baseball's 'unwritten rules,' it's definitely that flip that would do it.
Also, big ups to the Cougars for bringing a Thor hammer to the plate following the walk-off. That bat flip was certainly of Norse mythological quality.
