Colin Kaepernick certainly isn’t the best quarterback to ever play in the NFL, in fact many would argue that his role shouldn’t extend much further than a backup. Saying that, he’s certainly got more potential under centre than some of the quarterbacks that currently have jobs in the NFL.

Kaep doesn’t have a job in the NFL, at least not yet.

With the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback’s refusal to stand during the national anthem kicking off a controversial social justice movement, teams around the league have seemed hesitant to look in Kaepernick’s direction for quarterback help. While many other players have followed suit, opting to take a knee during the anthem, Kaepernick brings a different kind of attention.

Well, the spotlight is once again focused on Kaep. On Friday, Kaep took to the field for a workout in which NFL teams could come and scout the former Super Bowl starter. While a workout isn’t a direct indication of how Kaep would perform on the NFL field these days, he did flash some highlights – particularly his strength and accuracy on multiple deep balls.

What seemed like a longshot just weeks ago now has us wondering; could an NFL return for Kaepernick actually happen?
