Remember when Jonathan Toews scored three times in the shootout at the World Juniors in 2007 against the United States to send Canada to the final?  Well, we got another legendary Canadian shootout moment that was very similar to Toews' on Thursday.

In the semi-final at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, Canada and Sweden needed a shootout to decide who would play in the final.  Cole Perfetti, who had scored twice on a breakaway in regulation, stepped up and scored three more goals, including the game-winner.

For those unfamiliar with the IIHF rules, if the shootout is still tied after five shots, anyone can be chosen to shoot from that point onward, even one of the initial five shooters.

Perfetti took every shot for Canada after the first five rounds were over and what made the shootout all the more entertaining is Sweden employed the same strategy with Daniel Ljungman, who scored earlier in the game and shootout.

It was a shootout for the history books and Perfetti's name is now up there with Toews' when you think of iconic moments in Canadian hockey history.
