Cole Caufield’s highly anticipated NCAA debut with the University of Wisconsin finally came to fruition tonight, and the 15th overall pick for the Montreal Canadiens in the most recent entry draft definitely did not disappoint.

With six minutes to go in the first period, Caufield notched the Badgers first goal of the season, the first of his collegiate career.

It was a thing of beauty.

The exciting prospect already impressed enough with his first tuck, but he didn’t stop there - notching his second in as many periods.

Not. A. Big. Deal.

While the Badgers fell to the Eagles 5-3, the game definitely gave Habs fans something to be excited about.
