The USA World Juniors team is caught in a blur at the moment after an elating 4-3 victory in which they gave up a 3-1 lead. The mixture of excitement, relief, anticipation, and a whirlwind of other things may make it a little hard to focus on anything that ISN’T the upcoming Gold Medal Game.
Maybe that’s what was going on with Cole Caufield during the post-game interview, because he certainly didn’t seem to be focused on his media training.
Is it possible to call a clip that involves cursing… wholesome? Something about the pure joy that comes out of him makes it hard not to smile.
And for these reasons…. No, Cole… we will not cut!
