The Houston Astros are hoping to move forward after an exhausting scandal found them guilty of using technology to help steal signs. The cheating is amplified even more by the fact that the Astros won a World Series while using their sign-stealing techniques.
Over the past few months, the Astros have transitioned from denying the allegations to accepting their guilt and beginning to apologize. The only problem is their apologies have been fairly weak at best.
On Thursday, 'Stros owner Jim Crane apologized for breaking the rules, but also teetered back and forth on whether or not the cheating impacted the game.
Just about everyone called them out for insincerity, but perhaps none more so than Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Cody Bellinger.
It's understandable that Bellinger is upset due to the fact he was on the losing team when the Astros won it all, but even so it's quite a slamming.
While the Astros want to move on from the situation more than anything, we get the feeling they will be the bad boys this season.
