Wild Card weekend in the NFL ended in heartbreaking fashion for the Bears and their fans as Cody Parkey's game-winning field goal attempt hit the upright and the crossbar.

Fans were unreasonably mad at Parkey for missing the kick and after the game, a closer examination of the kick, along with some new footage, revealed that it appeared an Eagles player tipped the kick.

As you can see, the slightest of tips can make all the difference on any kick.  Further to the video evidence, the Eagles player that tipped the ball Treyvon Hester, admitted he did in fact get a piece of it.

Even if it wasn't tipped, the unnecessary anger is not even close to warranted.  Parkey went 3-for-4 on the day and was responsible for more than half of Chicago's points on the day and the defence gave up the go-ahead touchdown.

Point is, everyone is to blame in a loss and praise in a win.  That's why it's a team sport and that's what being part of a team is all about.
