Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer is not only known for throwing the ball around hard, but he’s also one of the more active chirpers out on the internet.

The 26-year-old starter is even known to frequent Twitter during games. During the 2017 ALDS, Bauer was caught blocking Yankees fans and Twitter trolls after he was chased from Game 4.

Like many baseball playes during the winter months, the enigmatic personality was training for the upcoming season and was spotted on camera  at Driveline Basbeball’s facility in Kent, Washington throwing just under 117 MPH with a 3 oz baseball.

Move over Aroldis Chapman.

Even though MLB balls range from 5.00 to 5.25 ounces, it’s still pretty impressive to see a player throw that much heat. According to the facility’s Twitter account, the ball Bauer threw was a record for the training centre. We should note that Bauer did have a 10-step start before launching

Bauer usually throws his fastballs in the lower 90’s, so it’ll be interesting to see if the training has any sort of impact on his velocity.
