When the NHL database of player headshots is updated each year with new photos, it isn’t always a huge deal, but then again, most headshots don’t look like Brandon Tanev’s new team photo with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Speaking with Calgary Flames reporters over Zoom on Friday, Chris Tanev decided to poke some fun at his brother’s headshot.
With any luck, we can get more players around the NHL to chime in on Brandon Tanev’s headshot. This thing is a true phenomenon.
