Well, you know Chris Paul loves to talk back. He took objection to a pair of delay-of-game violations resulting in a technical foul against the Thunder in their Sunday win against the Blazers, and the broadcast picked up his choice words for referee Brian Forte.
"You're trying to prove a point!" said Paul. "You're going to be on SportsCenter tonight, good job!"
A few minutes after his own mix-up with the referees, Paul did get the whistle he wanted. After his good buddy Carmelo Anthony reacted rather emphatically to a no-call, Paul asked the refs to call a tech, and they obliged.
He might never stop jawing. We haven’t even gotten into the technical foul he lobbied for with seconds left in Oklahoma City’s Friday game against the Timberwolves to help force overtime. CP3 is a high-level snitch.
