Everyone assumed it was going to be a rough season for the Baltimore Orioles and while the team has managed to keep its head above the water (also know as the .500 mark) through 10 games, there are still a ton of games left that they can lose.

Surprisingly, Monday was not one of those games as they defeated the Athletics 12-4, but there was an all-time low for one member of the Orioles by the name of Chris Davis.  Entering the game, Davis had a chance to avoid the longest hitless streak in MLB history, but as the old saying goes, sometimes you can't fight fate.

Reminder: Back in 2016, the Orioles signed Davis to a seven-year, $161 million contract. It was a questionable contract at the time, but now it could go down as one of the worst in MLB history.

Davis is now 0-49 and it's gone from fans booing him to actually cheering on him to get a hit, which is a strange, but understandable face turn from the Baltimore faithful.

Davis can end his hitless drought Monday, but it won't be easy as he's a career 1-for-8 against Brett Anderson with three strikeouts.
