The Championship parade is supposed to be a time a joy, where players that take home the ‘Ship get to share the trophy with their fans. It’s the pinnacle of a hard fought season, a time to relax and celebrate.
The Kansas City Chiefs were hoping for this kind of parade, but one person seemed to have a different idea. With the fans lining the streets and the parade underway, a video shows a slew of unmarked cop cars taking out a driver that had made their way onto the parade route.
That’s a pretty well executed pit maneuver, and a relatively safe one considering the amount of bystanders in the area.
Not exactly the happening the Chiefs were hoping for during their day of celebration, but debatably the most exciting thing that’s ever happened at a Championship parade.
Let’s just not do it again, agreed?
