Crossover alert!

The Chicago Blackhawks mascot, Tommy, is pretty good pals with the Bulls’ mascot, Benny. The duo was enjoying a movie night where they watched an old classic, The Parent Trap. Like the separated twin sisters in the movie, Tommy and Benny thought it would be a brilliant idea to try their hand (hoof? wing?) at switching spots for a while. Hey, everyone could use a shake up from their regular routine right now!

They got to work right away, and it looks like Tommy did a great job of teaching Benny the fundamentals of hockey.

After what looked like a very rigorous training experience, Benny the Hawk made his first appearance as a hockey mascot last night. While it looks like he wasn’t entirely clear on the rules of the sport, he still seems to have had a great time!

Unfortunately, it looks like Benny will be back to basketball quite soon. This is even more unfortunate because he never got to successfully complete a toss from Patty Kane.

Good news, though!

We get more crossover action tonight with Tommy’s first game as the Bulls mascot, and we should be in for a treat.

You’re in for a good one, Bulls fans!
