Before Steph Curry was lighting up the NBA with the Golden State Warriors and even before he was making a name for himself at Davidson, the three-time NBA champion was just trying to learn the ins and outs of the game at the Queensway Christian College in Etobicoke, Ontario.

On Wednesday, the Instagram account oldtoronto shared some fantastic throwback photos of Curry in his old Saints uniform, rocking the No.12.

Although the school is no longer running, they somehow managed to get their hands on a couple of fantastic throwback photos from more than 15 years ago.

The 2001-2002 Queensway Christian College Saints grade 8 boys basketball team. The school, now closed, was across the street from the Etobicoke Ikea. Player #12 is named Stephen Curry. #oldtoronto #toronto #history
