Family holiday photos can be a competition within itself. You typically want them perfect for when you send them to your friends and family so they think you’re perfect.
Well for MLB legendary pitcher CC Sabathia and his family, they took picture-perfect to a whole new level.
Literally, they’re growing above and beyond the competition.
Via an Instagram post by makeup artist Douglas Otero, a photo series of the Sabathia family in make up showcased their unique 2020 holiday look.

Throwing the matching plaid and festive decor out the window, the Sabathia’s decided to take their 2020 holiday card and make it more lighthearted and we actually kind of love it.
Giving us some nostalgic vibes with their wholesome messages around the card, we kinda want to be apart of the Sabathia family.
I water you and you water me, we grow into 2021? Are you kidding, that’s adorable!
And while CC and Amber embrace ever so lovingly, their four children Carsten, Jaden, Cyia, and Carter are photographed beside them with their respective grade levels.
We’re still a bit confused about what is going on but you know what?
One thing is for sure, CC’s beard looks 10x more majestic with the green ferns accenting the terracotta orange clay face make up.
