It’s been a tough year for Carlos Correa and the Houston Astros, but they brought it on themselves when the used technology to steal signs during the 2017 season in which they won the World Series. Since then, the shaming has been relentless, even through the league’s hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After the Boston Red Sox were also busted for using the Apple Watch to steal signs, it turns out there’s a chance the Astros may have even more company on the throne of shame.

On Saturday, a judge ruled that a letter from MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred to the New York Yankees should be revealed. Apparently it contains evidence of a “more serious sign-stealing scandal.”

While this is not good for the game of baseball, it may strangely be music to the ears of Astros players who are sick of getting shamed. On Saturday, shortstop Carlos Correa responded to the situation with a fabulously petty tweet not-so-slyly directed at Yankees slugger Aaron Judge.

When these two finally get to meet, there are going to be some fireworks.
