Carey Price and the Montreal Canadiens were unable to complete a late postseason charge, despite actually finishing with more points than the Colorado Avalanche who are currently getting ready for Game 1 in Round 2 against the San Jose Sharks.

Some players golf when the offseason arrives. Gotta keep your mind off the pain somehow right? For Price, it’s inflicting a heck of a lot more pain to begin this offseason.

The Habs netminder shared out a photo of his very fresh tattoo. It’s not some heart with his mom’s name in it either, it is a massive, massive, MASSIVE bear on his shoulder. Accompanying that bear are even more bears underneath.

Price is not messing around with that one.

The ink was provided by Riley Hogan, who is no stranger to sleeves. This particular sleeve has gotten people talking, however. Not only is it on one of the highest profile hockey goaltenders in the world, but it is seemingly an odd choice given his situation in the league.

You know, like the bitter rival of the Boston Bruins. The tattoo literally looks like it could be a Bruins superfan showing support to the team.

If you need more proof, just check the comments on his Instagram post. Almost all of them are about how he’s a “closet Bruins fan” or that he wants to be traded to Boston.

He’s not the first NHL star to get a massive animal head permanently etched onto his arm. Auston Matthews did the same a couple years ago. His also took some heat from one “honored” mascot.

No regrets though, right?
