The Vancouver Canucks will celebrate the Lunar New Year with a limited edition jersey and it’s incredible.
As part of the team’s Lunar New Year celebration, the players will wear commemorative jerseys designed by artist Trevor Lai during warm-up that night.
The detail put into the crests are absolutely incredible and are truly a work of art, and Lai explained what everything on the jersey symbolizes.
Vancouver’s Lunar New Year warm-up jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the night and the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Elimin8Hate, a local communication organization that advocates for racial equity and an inclusive society for all Asian Canadians.
