Every year in the NCAA tournament, it seems as if there are more Canadian stars demanding the attention of the basketball world.
This year, Oregon's duo of Dillon Brooks and Dylan Ennis led the charge for Canadians in the tournament, and the two were a big reason Oregon made it to the Final Four.
This season, Brooks averaged 16.1 points per game for the Ducks and shot 40% from three-point territory.
The Mississauga native's draft stock is the highest it's ever been thanks to the incredible season he had, so when Brooks declared for the NBA draft on Wednesday, it made perfect sense.
Brooks also took to Instagram to thank everyone from the fans to his teammates.
Brooks isn't the only Duck that recently declared for the draft. Tyler Dorsey, who was also instrumental in Oregon's run to the Final Four, also declared a short while ago.
We wish the best of luck to Brooks as he goes through the pre-draft process and we know Canada is behind him as he tries to become the latest Canadian to enjoy success in the NBA.
