Here’s something you don’t see every day.
A flock of camels invaded the Washington National’s spring training facility on Wednesday morning for “hump day.”
The camels had their own walk-up music to the tune of the Black Eyed Pea’s “My Humps” track, in an effort to inject some fun into the middle of the spring training week.
In case you forgot the popular track…
When asked about the reasoning behind bringing camels to spring training, Nats new manager Davey Martinez explained that his ball club is merely trying to get over the hump.
The Nationals have failed to reach past the National League Divisional Series in four of their last six seasons, and have failed to win more two playoff games in each of years.
Brilliant. Now that's one creative way to get your players motivated.
