During the month of July the Special Olympics will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary. All leading up to the Canadian games that will be taking place this year in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

In preparation for those games Special Olympians all over the country have been taking part in a ‘Challenge Accepted’ campaign in which the athletes are proving that those with intellectual disabilities are done being left behind. The same goes for a young man named Callum Denault, who joined Cabbie this week to accept the challenge of being a sports reporter and interviewing a few of the Toronto Argonauts….who seemed to enjoy the break from the typical Cabbie routine….

Cabbie is certainly one of the most unique personalities on TV, and sometimes it can be a lot to handle. In the case of the latest Cabbie Presents segment, his personality was a little TOO much for Toronto Argonauts players Marcus Ball, James Franklin, and James Wilder Jr. Luckily, Callum was there to pick up the mic.

Denault is not only talented as a goaltender on the soccer pitch, he’s also pretty talented as an interviewer. Denault relates his own experiences as an athlete with Autism and relates them back to the Argos for a very interesting interview. If you ask the players, they would much prefer Denault to that Cabbie guy.
