Bubba Wallace has been at the centre of a lot of attention lately, and is using his platform reinforce messages about love.
Wallace is the only Black driver in NASCAR, and is working to make the sport more diverse and combat racism in the space. In the midst of his advocacy, an incident where a noose was tied in Wallace’s stall occurred. The findings of the investigation thankfully showed that the incident was a misunderstanding.
In the wake of this, many have targeted Wallace. This morning, he was subject to more backlash for the misunderstanding on Twitter, some from the President of the US, and this time, responded with a great message about love and holding yourself to a high standard.
