Everyone talks about hockey fights like they’re the most brutal element of any sport, but if you take a look at lacrosse fights they’re actually even more brutal. They’re similar in the way that it is bare-knuckle boxing, but you are wearing less equipment, and you have the added balance of wearing shoes on a floor instead of skates on ice.
Hockey fans may argue these points, but it’s hard to really argue after seeing this video.
In a game between the Orangeville Northmen and the Whitby Warriors a hockey fight broke out and it got absolutely out of hand. Beginning with the players on the floor, the scrap turned into a whole team vs. team affair, including multiple goalie fights.
