William Nylander seems like a pretty relaxed guy overall. Despite having one of the more dramatic (and extended) offseasons in NHL history, he never seemed to really lose his cool.
Apparently that carried over to his post-signing days too. While the Leafs were all admittedly nervous awaiting the crucial goalie interference call that ended up helping them to victory in the end, Nylander was apparently cool as a cucumber.
There are thousands of Bruins fans that probably wouldn't be too happy to hear this. Whether or not it was a good goal, it definitely is not seen as cut and dry the way Nylander is making it seem.
While apparently Nylander's hunch was deemed correct, there is quite the uproar about the occasion. B's fans likely wouldn't be too agreeing with Nylander's assured attitude.
Either way, a goalie interference call can always be counted on to have some backlash. Now that the dust has settled, the Leafs are heading back home with a 3-2 series lead, trying to get past their nemesis and into the 2nd round for the first time in a long, long time.
