Bruins commentator Jack Edwards took a shot at Leafs fans during Game 1 between the Bruins and Canes

For the first time since 2018, the bad blood between the Bruins and Leafs hasn't made its way to the playoffs....or has it?

Yes, Toronto got bounced in the qualifying round and Boston went 0-3 in the round robin, but the Bruins are still playing and during Wednesday's Game 1 against the Hurricanes, commentator Jack Edwards took some time to roast Leafs fans for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Why not roast Toronto and keep the rivalry going? Leafs fans probably don't like to see it, but as hockey fans, we most certainly do!

Toronto fans didn't get any satisfaction from the result of the game, either, as Patrice Bergeron scored in double overtime to put the Bruins up 1-0.
