Another day, another controversial ending to a game in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The St. Louis Blues defeated the Boston Bruins, 2-1, on Thursday night to move one win away from capturing their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, but the eventual game-winning goal came with some controversy.
 

Tyler Bozak got away with a questionable play that eventually knocked Noel Acciari out of the game with a possible concussion and led to the Blues’ second goal of the night, and fans immediately showed their displeasure with the officiating on the play. After the game, Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy with some words of his own.

According to Frank Seravalli, NHL senior vice president and director of officiating Stephen Walkom weighed in on the sequence following the game and said something that’s only going to make Bruins fans even angrier about trailing 3-2 in the series.
