With the Vancouver Canucks in Saint Paul for a game against the Minnesota Wild, Burnsville native Brock Boeser had the chance to play in front of a crowd of friends and family, including his dad Duke.
Duke has battled cancer over the past year, and after the game, Brock was able to share a special moment with his dad. Somebody chopping onions in Saint Paul?
With his dad watching, Brock and the Canucks were able to capture a 4-1 win against the Wild.
Brock previously spoke in detail about his dad’s battle with cancer before the season started, and it’s clear that this has been a very affecting experience for the Boeser family. We wish them all the best going forward.
