It’s important to be diligent during times, but especially so for Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser. His father Duke has been battling lung cancer over the past year, as well as Parkinson’s disease.
The Boesers are self-isolating at home together, but as Brock describes, he is taking every precaution to reduce the risk of transmission — that means he’s avoiding all physical contact with his dad.
While it can be nice to have the company of family around right now, we definitely feel for the situation that Brock finds himself in. Staying safe is definitely the priority right now.
Brock has been open speaking about his father’s medical condition in the past, and we know just how much his family means to him.
