When thinking of the greatest trophies in professional sports, we feel like NASCAR definitely does not get the love it deserves.
Yeah sure the Stanley Cup and Lombardi are great and all, but NASCAR’s trophies serve more than just a décor piece. They’re actually useful!
(Sorry but the thought of a Stanley Cup being both a cup and a place people put their infant children in, has us turning an eye on it)
Like Martinsville Speedway awarding the winner with a Grandfather Clock or Martinsville Speedway giving their winners a victory goblet of red wine.
These trophies simply serve a purpose, so in proper NASCAR fashion, Joey Logano was awarded a gigantic gladiator sword after winning the NASCAR Cup Series’ first dirt race since the 70s.
So of course, Logano showed his fans some of the cool things he can do with his new trophy. Scratch that toy.
From cutting weeds and hedges to using the sword to open his mail, pop and even cook, Longano has us pretty jealous that we’re without a cool sword to help us do our typical day-to-day tasks.
This marked his third win at Bristol Motor Speedway so that means he has not one, not two, but THREE swords.
Let us repeat, we’re VERY jealous.
