NHL players come in all different sizes. Small, big, thin, thick. Get two with completely opposite height and you’ve got yourself a pretty remarkable photo.
The Nashville Predators decked themselves out in Mardi Gras gear and two players who couldn’t look any less alike wounded up posing together for the perfect picture. In comes Rocco Grimaldi, standing 5’6, 180 pounds and veteran centre Brian Boyle, 6’6 245 pounds. As Grimaldi pointed out in his tweet with the photo, the two kind of look like father and son…
Or maybe this is a little more accurate?
Hey, at least Grimaldi was a good sport about the whole thing? Kind of like the time he got absolutely demolished by Shea Weber in a game earlier this year against the Montreal Canadiens on the road. The dude got LIT UP but hey, the Preds came away with a 4-1 victory so everything was okay.
Taking a photo with Boyle is one thing, but how about the NHL’s biggest player? He managed to grab Zdeno Chara for a smallest vs. biggest player picture that quickly went viral. 5’6 and 6’9 side by side looks pretty crazy!
Our hat is off to Grimaldi for being such a beauty about his (lack of) size. He has 5 goals and 8 asissts through 48 games so far with Nashville this season.
