COVID has changed the way hockey is being played. The restart of our favourite sport features two hub cities, Toronto and Edmonton, no fans in attendance, a number of health and safety regulations, and a glass box for the commentator between the benches to stand in.
That right there is COVID safe commentating. It's also safe commentating in general because the threat of a puck or stick hitting whoever is standing between-the-benches is no longer there.
