It was a tough day at the office for Brad Marchand, and that’s because the office was essentially the penalty box.
A roughing double-minor, a two minute slashing penalty, a 10-minute misconduct penalty for waving the white flag from the box, and another roughing penalty to boot – Marchand spent almost an entire periods worth of time being penalized.
Not only that, the Bruins lost 1-0 to the Dallas Stars in overtime. Overall, not a very happy game for Marchand and the B’s.
Marchand did give us a little entertainment, however. Aside from the usual chirping on the ice, Marchand did a little bonus chirping with fans. While in the box, Marchand appeared to be asking a fan “How much did you pay to watch me?”
The Bruins left winger is one of the most polarizing players there is in the league, and he is proud of that role. There’s one thing that nobody can argue, however; he’s always entertaining to watch.
