That was made even more clear after the Bruins were eliminated from the playoffs over the weekend. Brad Marchand woke up on Monday and decided to wrap up this playoff storyline with a short tweet that perfectly trolls everyone who was so angry with him in the first place.
Marchand has been doing this all season and roasting anybody who tries to chirp him for it. Seriously, if you want to go after Marchand on social media, you better make sure you’re using a decent profile picture, because he will go after you.
Boston reporter Joe Haggerty was faced with this exact situation after trying to chirp Marchand about his nose and getting roasted in return.
He’s not Marchand’s first victim this year and he probably won’t be the last. His tongue was the talk of the playoffs, but his Twitter fingers are what really do the damage.
