Sports are all about sacrificing the body, and athletes have been known to go through some physically grueling stuff to be successful in their respective sport.

When thinking about competitors that forfeit their health in order to prosper, combat sports are the first that come to mind, especially boxing. These are some of the fiercest athletes on the planet, and are infamous for taking hits to the point where it becomes seriously dangerous.

And then, there’s this guy.

22-year-old Kaywann Sistrunk can probably be found handing out resumes for jobs in his local community, because he’s definitely rethinking the whole boxing career thing after that devastating blow from his opponent Sevelle Hasan.

One minute and ten seconds into the third round of a super lightweight battle, Sistrunk, who holds an 0-0-1 record, can be seen battling his way back to his feet in the corner of the ring, and in a wild turn of events he shakes his head, spits his mouthguard to the ground, and exits through the ropes.

We almost want to call this a power move, just because of the absolute conviction and purpose he stormed out with, but he still left and forfeited. Bold move. We’d like to believe that he at least had a good reason for storming out, and this Twitter user has a theory that we like.

Whatever his reasoning was, we’ll be interested to see if he ever decides to storm back into the ring, or if this powerful exit will be his legacy o the boxing world.
