Fans in attendance at the Premier Boxing Champions event on Friday were probably expecting to see a heavyweight match between fighters Efe Ajagba and Curtis Harper, since, you know, that fight was listed on the card for the event.

We’re not sure if we’ve ever seen this before, however. As the opening bell rung, Harper casually strode out of the ring to take his leave.

Let’s check in on the PBC on Twitter!

Well, at least they have a sense of humor about it all.

Harper reportedly made his exit after requesting, and being denied, to see the contract he signed for the fight. While we aren’t much familiar with the contract signing process of boxing, it doesn’t seem like it’d be easy to get ahold of one’s contract after already stepping into the ring for a fight. But, we aren’t experts.

Obviously, Ajagba wound up the winner by forfeit. It’s quite uncommon for a fighter to win without throwing a single punch, but we have seen matches end about as quickly before. In July, two fighters exchanged a flurry of blows for the craziest 30-second bout you’ll ever see.
